He is currently an Associate Professor at School of Software in Hefei University of Technology, and the Deputy Director of Department of Software Engineering. He received a PhD degree in ICT from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia in 2013. And he obtained master degree and bachelor degree both in engineering from Hefei University of Technology in 2005 and 2008. He also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University of East London, UK from 2014 to 2017.

He has hosted and participated in multiple projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key R&D Program, the Anhui Provincial Key R&D Program, the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the European Union FP7. He has published over 30 high quality papers (like TC, TSC, JCSS, ICSOC, TVCG, etc.). He also served as the Chairman of CCF YOCSEF Hefei Branch 23-24, the member of China Computer Federation, the member of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, etc.
