His main research interests are motion data acquisition and analysis, character animation synthesis. In recent years, he has led 1 sub-project of the National Key R&D Program, participated in 1 National Key R&D Program project, 1 Anhui Provincial Key R&D Project, 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Project), and 1 Regional Fund as a key member. Approved 1 industry-university cooperation and collaborative education project of the Ministry of Education.

He has instructed students to win many national and provincial competition awards such as China International College Students' 'Internet+' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Computer Design Contest for College Students, CCF CCSP, etc. He has achieved the first prize and the third prize of the Anhui Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, and the first prize of the Tibet Autonomous Region Science and Technology Award.
